To finish Fairtrade Fortnight with a flourish, the Fairtrade Foundation has organized a Fairtrade Banana-eating World Record. It takes place from midday Friday 6th March to –midday Saturday 7th March this week. All you have to do is sign up and eat at least one Fairtrade banana. For more details go to:

They already have over 280,000 people signed up to take part mostly in the UK and Ireland but also across the world and there are hundreds of events taking place in businesses, schools, retailers, catering outlets, council offices and all sorts of other places.
