Happy Friendsday

So now the days of the week go like this:
Monday:
Mondays are ok because they sort of go really quick; everyone talks about what they did at the weekend. Most of the main meetings that gauge the rest of the week take place on a Monday so you are driven by caffeine, stress and indigestion.
Tuesday:
Tuesdays are great because Mondays are over and you can plan the rest of your week, it’s also date night for me, so I always look forward to what the evening is going to bring.
Wednesday:
Wednesdays are fantastic, as they are the middle of the week, you’ve come this far and the Weekend is on the horizon, plus it is now ‘Orange Wednesdays’ which means a trip to the local pictures with P. Great, Girly and Gorgeous, I love it.
Thursday:
Thursdays, well, Thursdays, they kind of not know what they are doing, do they? All the work you have accumulated over the course of week seems to have come to a head, in a frantic attempt to get all done before Friday, you cannot see past the of the mountains of paper work and that mountain is not budging. Thursday, it’s not the end of the week, you have one day to go, and it seems to be the pivotal point of no return. Thursday’s, they are not Wednesdays, they are not disguised as Fridays, they just sit there, mean and nasty, drawing you in and taking your money at the end of the day, they also have an evil habit of luring you into a nasty hangover for a Friday. Don’t you just hate them for that?
Fridays:
Whoopee the weekend starts here.
So thank you Orange for making Wednesdays so worth while. Don’t you just love the Orange marketing campaigns? OK so not many of us get the animal packages, but I did love the little fat clockwork couple, so cute.
I know that most mobile phone companies give back rewards now days; however, I am still a great follower of the one and only Orange Wednesday. Text ‘FILM’ to 241 and you get to see the latest flick and take a friend for free. Yippee!
After years of ‘Orange Wednesday’ they have rebranded and included Pizza Express in the deal under the new campaign of ‘ Friendsday’. The new face of this campaign is the gorgeous Elphaba aka Wicked Witch of the West is this a drastic attempt to make Orange Wednesday’s ‘Popular’? Don’t just love that number? Quick, where’s my ipod? I need a Chenoweth fix.
Any getting back to Wednesday, I’m off to see The Watchmen now.
Yay!
Happy Friendsday

Shock, Horror, Terror Tuesday!

According to the article, YouTube has restricted access to music videos in the UK after failing to reach a new licensing deal with the Performing Rights Society for Music. The video-sharing website began making thousands of videos unavailable to users from last night (March 9th).
This is not news I wish to hear, you guys know how I feel about the changes YouTube have been making recently. I am not really sure who is to blame here, I can see both sides of the story, however, I really do feel that YouTube and Google are slightly missing the point here also of a potential revenue angle.
YouTunes Music Downloads:
It’s the way forward, we pay for the download which allows you right to incorporate the download into your own videos. Hey we all use itunes or Napster and most of us YouTubers use the tracks in our videos, so how about it guys? Please get your act together, we all love YouTube, please don’t deny us the pleasure of freedom of expression. Look at some of the famous YouTubers, that guy that does the funny dance around the world and didn’t everyone love the chubby guy dancing to Beyonce’s Single Ladies. Come on guys, lets give itunes a run for its money YouTunes, it's kinda catchy isn't it?
YouFilm Video Downloads:
Get me, Angel, YouTube Project Manager extraordinaire, has a nice ring to it, do you not think?

Awaken Your Senses

Hello my dears,
What a week it has been, don’t you just love that no day is the same?
Anyway first thing is first
WONDERROBBIE:

http://biggaycasting.com/people/WonderRobbie
I love your Robbie!!!!! Good Luck.
Apart from singing the praises of the lovely Wonderrobbie, I talk about the wonderful new musical, which is hitting the West End, next week actually, at the end of March.
SPRING AWAKENING
Following a sensational European premiere at the Lyric Hammersmith, where it won multiple 5 star reviews, Spring Awakening transfers to the Novello Theatre from 21 March.
Frank Wedekind’s groundbreaking 1890s play was a daring exploration of teenage sexual awakening set against a backdrop of religious and parental repression. Acclaimed writer Steven Sater and songwriter Duncan Sheik’s new musical version retains the period setting of the original and introduces a superb collection of contemporary songs that serve to express the private anguish and ecstasy of the young characters. Stunning 21st century design and superb performances by the predominantly young cast combine to create an exhilarating energy that drives a remarkably compelling and timeless story.

To finish Fairtrade Fortnight with a flourish, the Fairtrade Foundation has organized a Fairtrade Banana-eating World Record. It takes place from midday Friday 6th March to –midday Saturday 7th March this week. All you have to do is sign up and eat at least one Fairtrade banana. For more details go to:
http://www.fairtrade.org.uk/gobananas
They already have over 280,000 people signed up to take part mostly in the UK and Ireland but also across the world and there are hundreds of events taking place in businesses, schools, retailers, catering outlets, council offices and all sorts of other places. It would be great if you, your friends, colleagues and family could sign up and take part.
Angel's Top facts regarding Bananas
The banana is the most popular fruit in the world and the whole UK banana industry is worth £580m a year.
Bananas are great energy boosters – around 35,000 are eaten at Wimbledon every year by players, linesmen and ball boys and girls.
Bananas contain tryptophan and vitamin B6, known to make you feel happy.
Bananas can sometimes be spotted in pairs sporting panama’s whilst running down staircases chasing Teddy Bears.

Awaken Your Senses

What did I see? Well, it was a fairly new production called ‘Spring Awakening’. It is playing at the Lyric in Hammersmith, but will be transfering to the West End soon.
I am not going to say too much here now as I think I may have found my review muse for this week’s Sundays with Angel.
Don’t you just love it when a plan comes together?
Have a great Thursday, it’s nearly the weekend.
